Ari Dvorin’s love for food began in his grandmother’s kitchen in Israel. As a small child he would roll up his sleeves and elbow up to the counter, contributing to three generations of cooking. A world traveler from an early age, this savvy chef tries to take a piece of every culture’s flavor along with him through life. Some of his favorite dishes from his childhood in Tel-Aviv are still the ones he loves to share the most with his own guests.

Working his way through high school as a busboy, waiter and prep cook at The Wampanoug Country Club in West Hartford, he laid the foundation for a career in the kitchen. Persuaded by the head chef to pursue the culinary arts, Ari enrolled in the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Working towards earning his degree, he refined his skills with hands on training by some of the world’s finest chefs.

Upon graduating, he was placed as a grill chef at the Flagstaff House Restaurant, a four-star establishment atop a mountain in Boulder, CO. In his experience there, Ari enhanced his techniques in fine dining. Currently, working as a private chef and full service caterer,
Ari is freelancing with some of Austin’s finest catering companies. Though
Chef Ari's repertoire of styles range from fine dining feasts to healthy home
cooked meals, he often chooses to cater with an International flare.

Chef Ari approaches catering much like a Boy Scout – ready for all
potential situations. No matter what the style, venue or headcount the
event may call for, Ari can take care of any requests. With a busy
schedule, it’s sometimes hard to put together meals to please your
family or guests’ palette. Let Chef Boy Ari help out in your kitchen
so you can spend more time out in the family room.
